Accessibility statement
How accessible this website is, what we know does not work well yet, and how to get information in a format that suits you.
This statement was prepared on 14 October 2026.
This accessibility statement applies to the Cyber Fibre website at cyberfibre.uk, including the pages you use to check your address and place an order. It does not cover the customer login area at portal.cyberfibre.uk, or the payment pages run by GoCardless and Stripe.
Cyber Fibre is a trading name of Cyber Fits Solutions Limited. As a private company we are not covered by the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018, but we follow the same approach because we want everyone to be able to use our website.
Our commitment
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, you should be able to:
- zoom in up to 400% without having to scroll sideways
- use most of the website with just a keyboard
- use most of the website with a screen reader
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or device settings
- turn off animations by choosing reduced motion in your device settings
We have also tried to make the text as simple as possible to understand. AbilityNet (opens in a new tab) has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible this website is
We checked the website ourselves in October 2026. We reviewed the page templates and style sheet, and checked the main public pages in a browser for page language, headings, text alternatives for images, form labels, error messages, keyboard focus, colour contrast and how pages fit on a narrow screen. What we found:
- Every page sets its language as English (United Kingdom).
- Every page has a “Skip to content” link as the first thing you reach with the keyboard.
- Each page we checked has one main heading, and the headings below it do not skip levels.
- Images either have a text alternative or are marked as decorative so screen readers skip them.
- Form fields have labels. When something needs correcting, the message appears next to the field and is linked to it, so screen readers read it out with the field.
- The main pages we checked fit a screen 320 pixels wide without scrolling sideways.
- Animations do not run if you have chosen reduced motion on your device.
We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible. These are listed below.
Things we have fixed
Our October 2026 check found these problems, which we have now fixed:
- Links and small headings in our deep mint colour did not have enough contrast against white (3:1, where 4.5:1 is needed). We now use a darker mint for text, which is 5.3:1 on white.
- The outline that shows which link or button has keyboard focus was hard to see on white backgrounds. It now has a dark inner ring as well.
- The borders of text boxes were too faint to see easily. They are now darker, and turn dark with a coloured ring when you are typing in them.
- One page had two parts with the same identifier, which can confuse some assistive technology. This has been corrected.
Content that is not accessible yet
We know about these problems and plan to fix them:
- The postcode boxes for checking your address use text inside the box as their visible label. Screen readers announce a proper label, but the visible text disappears when you start typing, which can make it harder to remember what the box is for. This does not fully meet WCAG 2.2 success criterion 3.3.2 (labels or instructions). We plan to add a visible label above each postcode box.
- Some links to other websites open in a new tab without saying so. This is not required at level AA, but it can be confusing, so we plan to add a warning to each of these links.
- We have not yet tested the website with a range of screen readers and voice control software, or had it checked by an independent accessibility specialist. There may be problems we have not found.
Content from other organisations
When you pay or set up a Direct Debit, you use pages run by GoCardless (bank payments and Direct Debits) or Stripe (card payments). We do not control how accessible those pages are. If you have difficulty with them, please contact us and we can help you another way.

Technical information about this website's accessibility
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at level AA.
Compliance status
This website partially conforms with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, because of the problems listed under “Content that is not accessible yet”, and because it has not yet been fully tested.
What we are doing to improve accessibility
We plan to check new pages and changes against these guidelines before they go live, fix the problems listed above, test the website with screen readers and voice control software, and update this statement when we do.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 14 October 2026. It is based on a review we carried out ourselves on 14 October 2026, of the page templates, the style sheet and the main public pages in a browser. It was not carried out by an independent specialist. It was last updated on 20 October 2026.
We will review this statement by October 2027, or sooner if we make significant changes to the website.
