Cookie policy

Last updated 2 November 2026.

This website uses four small cookies that it needs to work and to remember choices you make (and a fifth only on our own staff's devices). With your consent, it also uses Google Analytics cookies to help us understand how people use the site, and, if you also allow advertising, Google Ads cookies so we can measure which of our Google ads led to enquiries and orders. We never use cookies to personalise the ads you see.

Cookies the site needs

These are strictly necessary, so they do not need your consent.

CookiePurposeHow long
cfsidKeeps your place in the availability check and checkout, protects forms against misuse, and keeps how you found us for this visit so it is saved with any check, enquiry or order you make.Until you close your browser
cf_sideRemembers whether you are looking at our home or business services, so pages such as help and phone lines stay on the side you chose.Until you close your browser
cf_staffSet only on our own staff's devices, when they open a link from our systems, so that their visits are left out of our marketing figures. Visitors never receive it.400 days
cf_typeRemembers whether you checked availability as a home or business customer, so your next check during the same visit starts the same way.Until you close your browser
cf_consentRemembers your choices about analytics and advertising cookies, so we do not ask again on every page.12 months

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you choose "Allow all", or turn analytics cookies on in Cookie settings, we load Google Analytics, which sets the cookies below. They tell us, in total, which pages are visited, how people find us and how they move around the site, so we can improve it. Google says Google Analytics does not log or store the IP addresses of visitors in the UK. Unless you also allow advertising cookies (below), nothing they record is used for advertising. We never send Google your name, email address, phone number, postcode or address. On our availability check, checkout and leased line pages we send only the page's address without any search details, and pages whose address contains a personal link or reference are not measured at all.

When you place an order, ask for a quote or ask us to get in touch, and our systems have confirmed it, we also record that it happened: for an order, the order reference, the package and its total price over the minimum term; for a request, which form it was and the type of service. If you tap one of our phone numbers or email addresses, we record that it was tapped and where on the page, not the number or address. We record the steps towards an order in the same way: whether an availability check found services (not the address checked), the packages shown and the one chosen, starting the checkout, signing the agreement (not your name), whether you chose to pay by card or Direct Debit, and when you ask us to email your packages or a link to your basket (not your email address).

If you reject them, or do not choose, Google Analytics is not loaded and nothing is sent to Google.

CookieSet byPurposeHow long
_gaGoogle AnalyticsTells one visitor from another, using a randomly generated number.2 years
_ga_02WYNK1QFZGoogle AnalyticsKeeps track of your current visit.2 years
cf_src_fCyber FibreRemembers how you first found us (for example a search engine, an AI assistant, an advert or another website), so an order you make later is linked to it. It holds no personal data and never an advert's click reference.90 days
cf_src_lCyber FibreRemembers how you most recently found us, in the same way.90 days

Without these two cookies, how you found us is kept only for your current visit, in the session (cfsid), and saved with any check, quote, enquiry or order you make during it. We also count each arrival from another website, a search engine, an AI assistant or one of our adverts or tagged links on our own systems, without any cookie or personal data (see our privacy notice).

Google describes these cookies in its Google Analytics cookie usage page. See our privacy notice for how Google Analytics data is handled.

Advertising cookies (only with your consent)

Advertising is a separate choice, and it only works with analytics cookies on. If you choose "Allow all", or turn advertising cookies on in Cookie settings, Google Analytics may share the orders, quote requests, enquiries, phone number taps and steps towards an order described above with our Google Ads account, so we can see which of our Google ads led to them. To do this, Google sets the cookies below on our website. We do not use them for remarketing or to personalise ads, and we have turned ad personalisation off. Without your consent to advertising, nothing from Google Analytics is shared with Google Ads for you, and these cookies are not set.

CookieSet byPurposeHow long
_gcl_auGoogle Ads, through Google AnalyticsLinks a visit to our Google ads, so an order or enquiry can be counted against the ad that led to it.90 days
_gcl_awGoogle Ads, through Google AnalyticsKeeps the ad click reference when you arrive from one of our Google ads.90 days
Other cookies starting _gcl_ (such as _gcl_gs and _gcl_gb)Google Ads, through Google AnalyticsUsed in the same way, depending on how you arrived from Google.90 days

Google may also use cookies on its own websites, such as google.com, which are covered by Google's own policies. Google lists its advertising cookies on its cookie information for Google's ad products page.

You have not chosen yet, so analytics and advertising cookies are off.

You can change your choice at any time. If you turn analytics cookies off after accepting them, we stop loading Google Analytics and delete its cookies from your browser. If you turn advertising cookies off, we delete the Google Ads cookies set on our website and stop sharing with Google Ads. Turning analytics off turns advertising off too.

Our pages use the Montserrat font, which we host on our own website, so no font requests go to Google or anyone else.

When you pay, you are taken to GoCardless or, if you pay by card, to Stripe. Each has its own cookie policy.

You can also delete cookies, or block them, in your browser's settings.
